Sunday School

Join us each Sunday morning at 10:00am at one of our many Sunday School offerings...

Bible Quest (Preschool aged-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade)- Bible Quest’s objective is to help kids connect with the Bible in such a way that it relates to their lives and life experiences. It illustrates to participants how to live in the world as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Ready for something different? Radical? A total challenge that may unleash more God-driven conversation, insight, and truth than you ever thought possible? That’s the goal of "Every Picture Tells a Story." Youth react and reflect, pray and journal about their thoughts, dreams, hopes, and experiences, and choose photos that mirror their walks with God. They will use photos as springboards to describe their families, friendships, and inner lives. (meets in Youth Rooms)

Join us as we study the book of Acts of the Apostles using Barclay’s Bible Commentary. Acts is important not only for its retelling of how the church spread and the miracles performed by the church fathers, but also for its reminders of how close knit the early Christians were and the manner in which they chose to worship. (meets in the church library)

“The Bible Jesus Read” challenges the perception that the New Testament is all that matters and the Old Testament isn’t worth taking the time to read and understand. In this study we will follow Yancy as he explores how the Old Testament relates to our lives today. Those seemingly irrelevant Hebrew Scriptures take on a startling immediacy, portraying a passionate relationship between God and His people against the broad backdrop of human experience. Like nothing else, the Old Testament depicts the cries, the complaints, the deep, insistent questionings of the heart, the stuff of life we all must contend with. (meets in room 204)

The Present Word curriculum seeks to facilitate mastery of Bible content, understanding of the Bible in relation to life experiences, and a greater awareness of God’s self-disclosure, especially God’s redeeming love as revealed in Jesus Christ. Within the pages of this curriculum, participants are invited to reflect on how they might live in faith and love. (meets in room 203)

Does your child speak a different language? Sometimes they wager for your attention, and other times they ignore you completely. Sometimes they are filled with gratitude and affection, and other times they seem totally indifferent. When children feel loved, they do their best. But how can you make sure your child feels loved? Join us as we journey through this book and share with each other our journey through parenting. (meets in room 205)
